This ski touring trip will lead you to the eastern Alps on the border with Austria. Ortler, on the Italian side, combines Austrian comfort and Italian warmth and gastronomy and wine. Here you will find comfortable mountain huts with duvets and hot showers. In terms of skiing, this area offers numerous itineraries surrounded by glaciers and summits, such as the Cevedale (3780m) and Gran Zebrù (3800m).

Day 1: Arrival in Valfurva
Meeting with the Guide at 11am in front of the Tourist Office in Santa Caterina Valfurva (or 6am in Oulx TGV train station). We will then head to the Forni mountain hut (2200m) where we will settle for the night. Dinner and overnight stay in mountain hut. (Meals: D)

Day 2: The Confinale Mount (4hrs, +1170m -1170m, MS)
The Confinale (3370m) - the ideal day to enjoy the magnificent Ortler mountains. Dinner and overnight stay in mountain hut. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 3: The Piz Tresero (5hrs, +1390m – 1100m, MS)
The Piz Tresero (3594m) - we will spend the day on the gorgeous Forni glacier. From the summit, we can enjoy the stunning scenery of the Adamello mountains before heading to the Branca mountain hut (2487m). Dinner and overnight stay in mountain hut. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 4: The Palon de la Mare (4hrs, +1200m – 1500m, MS)
The Piz Palon de la Mare (3703m) - a varied itinerary allowing skiers to make the most of the day. We spend the night at the Pizzini mountain hut (2700m). Dinner and overnight stay in mountain hut (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 5: The Piz Cevedale (4hrs, +1000m – 1000m, MS)
The Piz Cevedale (3769m) - we are enjoying the heart of the Ortler mountains, surrounded by glaciers and ideal skiing itineraries. We return to the Pizzini mountain hut (2700m). Dinner and overnight stay in mountain hut (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 6: The Colle Pale Rosse (5hrs, +1050 m – 1250 m, MS)
We will enjoy our last day by heading to the Colle Pale Rosse (3379m) across a stunning itinerary. We head down the Vedretta della Miniera glacier before returning to the Pizzini hut via the Passi Zebrù (3004m) and ski down to Forni. A beautiful way to end the week! At the end of the day, private transfer to the meeting point (Tourist Office in Santa Caterina or Oulx Train Station). (Meals: B, L)
