A responsible trip in the "footsteps of the gods"
Campania is a trip that will take you straight to the gods of Olympia, it is the Roman's Campania Felix who named it thus as it represents the ideal place for the "otium" (leisure). Campania is Naples with all its different aspects, poor and rich, working class and nobles, deeply religious and superstitious, mother of its own citizens, ironical to the point of making fun of death. It also has the threatening shadow of Vesuvius which in 79 AD wiped out Pompeii & other towns at its feet where valued vineyards grew. Working-class neighbourhoods and social discontent is also part of Campania. In the film «Gomorra», first prize at the Cannes Festival or again in «Yesterday, today and tomorrow» with Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni exposed these popular districts. The citizens of these neighbourhoods oppressed by the Camorra, are raising up their heads to rebel against the Mafia in very extraordinary ways. Homeland to the first republic of the sea with breath-taking views on its paths, the Costiera Amalfitana will almost make you believe you are a god.

Highlights:
- Numerous aspects of Naples, its people and Pompeii's remains.
- Pleasant encounters with the activists and young people of the «Nuovo Teatro Sanità» association in Naples.
- Villages of the Amalfi coast: Ravello, Positano and Amalfi
