This amazing alpine traverse snowshoeing in the Aosta Valley takes us from the wild S. Bernardo Valley to the spectacular Mont Blanc Valley, following the itineraries of the Romans and the medieval Via Francigena. The discovery of the mythical S. Bernardo refuge and the homonymous kennel will take us back in time to witness the traditions of the area. A world of snow, rock and ice is waiting for us in the Mont Blanc Valley. The panoramic itinerary through forests and high pastures allows us to admire the "giant" of Europe and the most impressive peaks such as the "Dente del Gigante" and the "Grand Jorasses". Soft snow, wild alpine animals including the eagle and the ibex, comfortable hotels and typical cuisine, will be the highlights of this unforgettable winter trip.
Highlights:
-The mythical S. Bernard Pass, refuge for travellers since the Middle Ages.
-The soft snow along the big forest of larch and pine
-The magnificent panorama of Mont Blanc, from the Italian side.
